Lisa Patterson

Lisa Patterson is a Registered General Nurse and a Community Hospice Educator with additional skills in counselling and oncology support.

In 2016, Lisa joined St Nicholas Hospice Care as a Community Educator. She created Life’s Questions for children and teenagers as a proactive way to help them talk about taboo topics like death, loss and grief.

Lisa presented a workshop on Life’s Questions at the 6th International Public Health Palliative Care Conference in Australia in 2019. Lisa has been shortlisted for the Nursing Times Awards 2020 in HRH Integrated Approaches to Care and Children’s Services categories.
