A spotlight on: Patient and Public Involvement in Research and Policy
About the event
It is vital that the voices of people with lived experience are heard at all stages of research. This session will look at patient and public involvement within palliative and end of life research and policy. We will hear from researchers working to improve patient and public involvement, as well as members of the public about their experience of being involved with research projects.
This session will include the following presentations:
- Launch of the Public Involvement in Research Impact Tool kit with Alisha Newman (Marie Curie Palliative Care Research Centre, Cardiff & Wales Cancer Research Centre), Elin Baddeley (Marie Curie Palliative Care Research Centre, Cardiff) & more to be announced
