FY Wingz Dance Company invites you to Prance on the Prom – a joyful, colourful silent disco celebrating memories, love, loss and life.

Meet us at Blackpool Central Library, where we’ll gather before heading out onto the promenade together. Wear your brightest colours, cover yourself in lights and get ready to dance to a soundtrack of soulful tunes, joyful beats and songs chosen by local people – music that holds memories, tells stories and makes us feel something.

This is grief without apology. A chance to move, laugh, remember, let go, have a cry, have a dance and simply be together.

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or someone who usually watches from the sidelines, everyone is welcome. Bring your friends, bring your memories and bring your best prance.

With the sea behind us, the sky above us and Blackpool all around, let’s turn the Prom into a celebration of life, love and everything we carry with us.

Starting at Blackpool Central Library before heading onto the promenade. And don’t worry if it rains – we have a wet-weather plan!
