Open conversations about love, loss and the stories we carry.

Step inside Buzz Bury’s SoundVan, a mobile podcast studio parked up at the Good Grief Festival – and add your voice to the conversation.

Across Friday and Saturday, Buzz will be joined by festival artists, staff and special guests, sharing their stories and opening up conversations around love, loss, grief, memory and the ways we make sense of what happens to us.

And we’d love to hear yours too. The SoundVan offers informal conversation, a chance to answer some gentle guided questions, ask your own questions, share a story or thought that feels meaningful to you, or simply hear from others. There’s no script and no expectation to have the ‘right’ thing to say,  just an invitation to talk, listen and connect.

The conversations will become part of the Good Grief Blackpool podcast, created from the voices and stories gathered across the festival weekend. Conversations will only be recorded and shared with permission.

Buzz will be in the SoundVan on Friday and Saturday. Drop in, take a seat and have a chat. You never know where the conversation might take you.

About the artist: Buzz Bury is a local youth and community worker, creative meddler, project manager and international youth work trainer. He has a wealth of experience of working with young people and communities both in the UK and across the world and is now using the SoundVan to collect people’s stories.
