About the event
The UK Commission on Bereavement invites anyone who has faced bereavement to share their experience and offer views on how bereaved people can be supported in the future.
TV’s AJ & Curtis Pritchard and Grief Gang host Amber Jeffrey will be interviewing guests and discussing the ways in which grief affects us all. My Grief Story will be an opportunity for everyone to give their views and contribute to the discussion about the best ways to support those dealing with loss.
We have an inspiring range of speakers including Jeff Brazier, Julia Samuel MBE, Fran Hall, Patrick Vernon OBE, Dr Nighat Arif, Sonali Deraniyagala and Hollie McNish.
You’ll also hear from some of the people involved in the UK Commission on Bereavement, plus:
- Find out how you can contribute to the work of the commission
- Reflect on your own bereavement experience
- Consider how to express memories and feelings about the loss or losses you’ve experienced, in whatever way feels right to you
The event aims to inspire, provoke and challenge attendees to explore new possibilities, and look at how you can contribute to the change that’s needed to help ensure everyone who is bereaved receives the information and support that they need.
